In the intro to The Future of Oil, by Sanjay Patel, thebasic ideasof the book are introduced. Going into chapter 1, Patel explains why we have an oil problem in our world today and what we can do to fix it. Patel believes the Canadian oil sands are our solution to the world's oil problem.
